The equestrian camps held in the Netherlands aim to teach children about the magical world of horses. The training programs are fun, adventurous, filled with learning and making new friends of many different cultures.
June 30th – July 13th, 2019
The children receive their own horse which they ride and engage with during the practical lessons. The horses are perfectly suited to the age, the discipline and the level of experience of the child. The activities are specially designed for children between the ages of 8 – 18, they are adaptable to fit each child. They include training sessions, trail rides, workshops, leisure activities and clinics to increase horsemanship and rider fitness.
The theory takes part both in the stable and in the classroom for the most optimal transfer of knowledge. There are also exciting activities and games organized in the evenings, such as making horse cake and night rides through the forest.
The training programs take place in various equestrian trainer centers. We work together with partners located throughout the country to be able to make the best fit for the children. The centers are based in picturesque villages such as Ommen or Pesse.
Each location is a multiple acre property and accommodates over 40 horses, both schoolmasters and boarding horses. They include an indoor arena, a big outdoor area, eventing jumps, a private terrace and a restaurant. There are many bed rooms that accommodate between 2-10 people, each with their own toilet and bathroom.
We have the unique opportunity to switch between various accommodations according to the wishes of our participants. We can vary between the training areas and going out into the surrounding woods and landscapes.
As a parent, you decide whether your kid(s) will stay at our venue, or whether you would like to collect your kid(s) every evening at approximately 8 pm. ESI can help you find accommodation for yourself.
An oriental breakfast is served every morning. It consists of freshly baked petit bread, different kinds of bread, milk, juice, sweet and savoury sandwich filling, tea, coffee & fruits.
