The equestrian camps held in the Netherlands aim to teach children about the magical world of horses. The training programs are fun, adventurous, filled with learning and making new friends of many different cultures.
8 – 21 July 2018
The children receive their own horse which they ride and engage with during the practical lessons. The horses are perfectly suited to the age, the discipline and the level of experience of the child. The activities are specially designed for children between the ages of 8 – 18, they are adaptable to fit each child. They include training sessions, trail rides, workshops, leisure activities and clinics to increase horsemanship and rider fitness.
The theory takes part both in the stable and in the classroom for the most optimal transfer of knowledge. There are also exciting activities and games organized in the evenings, such as making horse cake and night rides through the forest.
The training program takes place in the picturesque village of Ommen, which is in the east of the Netherlands.
The 5 acre property accommodates approximately 50 horses, both schoolmasters and boarding horses. It includes a big new indoor arena, a big outdoor area, eventing jumps, a private terrace and a restaurant. There are 11 rooms that accommodate between 2-10 people, each with their own toilet and bathroom.
Its unique location gives us the opportunity to vary between the training areas and going out into the surrounding woods and landscapes.
As a parent, you decide whether your kid(s) will stay at this venue, or whether you would like to collect your kid(s) every evening at approximately 8 pm. ESI can help you find accommodation for yourself.
