The purpose of this workshop is to describe the key features of the anatomy and conformation of the dressage and show jumping horse. To evaluate a horse’s conformation, you must know several common names associated with horse anatomy.
The conformation of the horse is its overall shape as determined by its skeletal outline. The ideal conformation varies according the work the horse is required to do.In this workshop you will learn the basic understanding of the anatomy of the horse and proportions of conformation preferred for your sport. After this workshop you know the inside and outside of your horse.
In addition to this workshop we also provide a course on ‘How to buy a horse’. This provides you with applicable information, tips and tricks to buy your perfect horse. You will learn how the proportions of conformation fit the discipline and on what type of horse will best suit you as a rider.
